Update: Schools will remain open as scheduled January 8, 2025 Dear PUSD Parents and Staff: I wanted to provide an update for our PUSD families and staff. Our hearts go out to the communities near the Pacific Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst fires. We appreciate and support our first responders who are doing an amazing job protecting all our communities. Here in PUSD, we had damage to two structures from fallen trees but everyone is safe and schools will remain open. Again, we continue to monitor the situation and encourage families and staff to use extra caution when traveling to and from school, particularly in areas prone to falling debris or limited visibility due to dust.
